PARAMOUNT CITY: Mayor Peggy Lemons’ Weekly Update for December 16, 2020

Update

Paramount City issued the following announcement on Dec. 16

Greetings, Paramount … Check out some of these online tools to stay safe and stay informed.

You can now download the CA Notify app that sends notifications to your smart phone if you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. With this information, one can make responsible decisions around quarantine and testing, all essential for stopping the surge. You don’t provide your identity and your location is not tracked so your privacy is protected. The technology is available through the Google Play store on Android devices or through iOS settings on Apple devices. For more information, visit canotify.ca.gov.

TIP OF THE WEEK: The City has an e-newsletter that features important updates on events, programs, and services, in addition to regional and statewide stories that affect Paramount residents and businesses. Have it delivered directly to your email inbox by joining the subscriber’s list. You can find a story in this news list that has a link where you can sign up.

As a treat for the holiday season, enjoy the City’s Tree Lighting Ceremony by viewing it on YouTube. It’s not very long, and it’s at YouTube.com/CityofParamount.
